So, what is this for? I clicked on it on another board and it says , "Mandy quoted you on" or Lily followed you...
Am I supposed to clear these or what?
TIA CarolO

Beats me.....I just noticed it after you posted. I'm not sure. It is somewhat like Pinterest and FB I guess, where people can like what you say? A lot to learn about this new forum !!

It's to notify you that someone past "liked" or "Quoted" you in another post. When you click on profile your profile page comes up. You will see a tab that says notifications. Click on that and it will show you who did what to which post. then you can click on that post and it will take you to it to see what was done. I get them all the time on the GDT forum and I have done a few here on this forum.

WELL. .... Maybe that's something worth checking out. I always ignored that number but wished it would go away.
By clicking on it, instead of ignoring it, it went away and I got to see what I missed. Sort of like Facebook. I guess.

Facebook shows ''notifications" when people leave a comment on something you posted or something you posted to. I LOVE Facebook. So much out there and a great way to stay connected with out of state family and friends. Not to mention all kind of fun things. I also like how user friendly it is and EASY to post pictures . You can remove anything at anytime if you decide you don't want it up there anymore. And you can "hide" peoples posts from your newsfeed but still remain 'friends' if you don't want them to know you're not interested in all their drama
I wish my brother would take the time to learn Facebook. So much I'd like to share with him . I sometimes can get his wife to show him if I post on her wall. But it's not the same.
