Down today(Monday). They have been up since Thanksgiving, and my foot surgery is this Thursday so I wanted to get it out of the way. The Christmas weekend was filled with too much food and lots of phone calls from family and friends and some really nice egg nong from the liquor store.
was 79° here today. Spent some time practicing getting in and out of the pickup and the Rv on crutches while putting no weight on my right foot. Hopefully, none of the neighbors took photos:)

Dad has been asking about taking down the tree since the day after I put it up. I always take it down on New Year's Day and I'm digging in and keeping that even if it leads to insanity.
Love that you are preparing to manage on the crutches. It will make it much easier when you actually have to do it for real.

I think I'll put my decorations away on New Years Day, since I'm gave a couple of friends over NYE for drinks.
No tree. Just Christmas nick knacks , and my cat manager .
My 3 Pet Smart Christmas Cats🐱🐱🐱 that are taking up my entire living room love seat. I'll be glad to get them out of the way.

I took mine down on Monday. I wanted to just relax on my up-coming 4 day weekend. I am glad all is back to normal.
Been having beautiful weather here in Iowa. it has been in the mid to high 40's. Hope the rest of winter will not be a bad one.

When my friend said she was taking hers down today. I decided to do the same. I packed up my cat manager. My Santa Claus cookie jar, my Christmas Monkeys and Christmas Mice. Also put away my Pet Smart Christmas Cats .
Now. I can ring in the New Year withOUT the 2016 Christmas memories hanging around .
