Just finished Pharaoh by Wilbur Smith. Not his best effort IMHO. Now looking for something interesting. Suggestions appreciated...

I listened to Drunken Fireworks by Stephen King on Audible. It was OK. Not one of my favorites.

Luvn--I hate it when I get a book that is a dud! Seems like I choose more and more of them...

No time to read. When I did read a lot, I couldn't put the book down and got nothing done at home.

I am thinking of buying The Girl on the Train before I watch the movie. Has anyone read it?

I started reading The Small Backs of Children by Lidia Yukanavitch today. It's set in war torn Eastern Europe and it's about how a photo snapped of a young girl fleeing from her house as it explodes affects the photographer and his circle of friends as well as what happens to the girl. It's tough to read as it touches on things that happen during wartime that people don't want to talk about. It's hard to read but at the same time hard to put down.
