Things are not looking well for my mom. She has been moved from her studio apt in independent living to a rehab. At 90years of age and her many health issues, they are finding she just cannot do much for herself anymore. Two nights ago I could not reach her by phone and since then she has been unable to eat or wake up enough to talk on the phone. Fortunately for me, her good buddy is keeping me updated, because the staff is too busy to handle my inquiries. I am beyond sad at the timing of this, as I still cannot put weight on my foot or go there. Yes, my sister is taking care of her belongings and her housing search and her transfer BACK into hospice care so I know she is getting good care, but still...
