And I am pretty apprehensive about it. I stood on both feet yesterday for 1 minute 30 seconds. Later on, my foot swelled so much I couldn't tolerate the compression stocking I had on. Remember James Brady (who was shot in the head), calling his PT people the "physical terrorists"? I am such a coward...
EEy--Are you feeling better? Did you get some fresh air and sun and beat those blues?
Nash--what's up in your neck of the woods?
luvn--And what are you up to these days?

Well what do you know! Carolo , I just asked Jeanette to put a note out here for me as I am completely blocked out of this site on my lap top!
But on my IPhone they recognized my username and password with the auto fill option.
I don't know what's going on with Proboards. It's been very difficult getting in lately.
Anyway. I hope your pt sessions get easier.
Crazy thunderstorms early this morning in Nashville. High winds- lots of down trees and roof damage on several units here.
March came in like a Lion🦁As they say.
And very WEIRD! Now it's working on my laptop as well.

Nash--today is March first, and the past two days I also had trouble logging in/on. I thought it was just this community wireless we are hooked up to. Sorry you had the same problem! Our weather here has been nicer than normal all winter. Usually it is rainy, rainy and humid on days not raining. But we have had some lovely days. Too bad I am inside looking out😊 My first PT went well, I came home with exercises to do and I saw the doctor today to make sure this PT was doing right by me. Remember, I had Blue Cross for my surgery, but I had signed up for a Humana plan for when I turned 65 this month, and my MD is not in my network on my Humana. I hate what medicine has morphed into!! It used to be simpler...

Carlo, I retired from the Blues. So full health care coverage was one of our benefits . After turning 65 - the Blues picked up part B and paid all the deductibles. But that will be ending next year. Very complicated process they are putting in effect that I don't think I'll bother with. The non bargaining retirees lost their group coverage this year and I'm reading all the hassle the are going through on our Facebook retiree group page. It's not worth it. Vanderbilt no longer participates with the Blues- if I ever need to go to a hospital the one of my choice is affiliated with Vanderbilt- so Thr Blues can't help me there. My retired friends on Medicare here have either Humana or Cigna.

Hi, friends!
Carol, I am glad to hear that you survived PT! How many times do you go each week?
I have been drowning in school work. Looking forward to the weekend so I can catch my breath.
Nash, those storms headed this way today. Thankfully, they had lost a lot of steam on the way up here. I am terrified of lightning!

Jeanette, After watching local news I found out those quick moving early storms included a couple of tornado's in my area. So what I thought was ambulance sirens this morning was tornado warning sirens. I need to pay attention .
Anyway - a lot of down trees, roofs were wiped out in some neighborhoods, lots of missing shingles on our roofs over here . I hope they take care of it this summer. We're suppose to get new roofs anyway. Put those association fees to work .
