We have power and provisions, but we had no heat or hot water until this afternoon. I stayed snuggled up in bed watching TV and playing Words With Friends.

luvn--I am Ok, thanks for asking. Saw my foot MD today, and I am to stand on my foot. We tried to walk a step today and it was still excruciating to do. So, practice standing onit, continue with foot exercises and in a week or two start walking. She gave me gabapentin(sp?) for the nerve pain. Bet you're sorry you asked😉
Sorry you were without hot water: that stinks!

I'm sorry for both you guys. Jeanette without power and Carolo with your road to recovery on your foot. Ouch!
It's very cold here today. But no snow, so I can't complain. Celebrated my friend Sherri's birthday today. We took her to Granite City this afternoon for lunch . Split a flat bread between 3 of us and we all shared a big slice of chocolate cake with her.
