DH and I are going to see the new Star Trek movie. Tuesdays are senior day and we both qualify for it. I've been a trekkie fan ever since the original TV series. My favorite episode of the original was "The Trouble With Tribbles".

Today I am at work for 8 hours. Going to head home , make some dinner and then hopefully relax.

Went to laundromat this am, then to mtg, then stopped at Sonic. We split a $5 box to save money. Its just too hot to cook now.
Itoo, have watched Star Trek since the sixties. That tribble episode could apply today to US overpopulating earth:)

Back home after the movie. No spoilers but it was dedicated at the end to Leonard Nimoy and Anton who was killed in the freak accident about 2 months ago. He was the one who played Chekov. Both DH and I enjoyed it. Chris Pine makes a good Captain Kirk.

Just now seeing this. Yikes! This morning I helped the prison ministry team with mailings. (we do that on Wednesday also - gives me stuff to do)
Afternoon , I had a nice long afternoon nap.
I'm going to a Weigh Down Basics class tonight.
(Beth. I'm not a fan of Star Trek movies. But I often get dragged off to see them by a friend who is. I saw the last one . Or one of them anyway. )

Today I am at work for 8 hours. When I get home, I have to make desserts and dinner rolls for a catering job Thursday night. Hopefully time to relax after that before bed.
