Hot, Hot , it's just too HOT! I drank so much water today I'm sloshing😅. Been pretty busy here as we are getting more folks during the week. Had my first smelly people a few weeks ago. Well, the people weren't smelly, but I had trouble airingout the cabin. Took me two days. Lucky I didn't have a back to back reservation! Had my first party folks who left me with pretzels and chips pieces all over. But most everyone has been pretty neat and clean! I did have two people who I went out of my way to accommodate only to have them give me a low rating cuz our internet isn't that good. Sheesh!! Lots of folks make reservations in the middle of the night. Ask me how I know. DH has my phone beep whenever someone books😣. STILL haven't done anything fun.

I don't envy you . My brother rents out his cottage on Harsens Island ( in Algonac Michigan) and I know the problems and aggravation he goes through with different renters. I would never want to deal with that. But then there's a lot of things I would be bad at. Most people I know can't imagine milking goats or cleaning the poop out of goat pens and chicken coops.  This has been the coolest week we've had in a while. Only hitting the 80's. For me, that's scary. It means we're going downhill and winter is on the way. I'll take the 90's any day. I feel secure that summer will be here a while when it's in the 90's. Went for my emissions test and got my renewal license tags this morning. I have until the end of August to do it . But I don't like putting anything off. As soon as I get my renewal notice in the mail, I do it. Most people procrastinate and wait until the very last day. What kind of person are you in those matters? Does your state require the emissions test? Big waste of time racket. Michigan stopped that nonsense years ago. I think I'll be lazy the rest of the day and veg out on tv. Maybe do a few household chores that I've been putting off. I feel a little ambitious and a little lazy. |

Nash, I wouldn’t want to clean behind animals. Cleaning up behind my son is bad enough!🙄
I leave some things until the last minute. Not sure why I have always been that way.
Hope you get some warmer weather soon.
Not much going on over here. I am trying to catch up on housework and errands that I can’t seem to get done during the school year. Also trying not to eat myself into an early grave. Boredom eating is still getting the best of me.
