Hello! Four days on 12 hours and one on 8 this week. Got up at 7:30am, did two loads of laundry, pre cooked ground beef for my "thicker than chili", assembled it into the crockpot, then made a good breakfast and fell asleep when it was barely finished!๐. Then went to Kohls and bought a cotton duster to wear in the upcoming hot weather. Still using my Xmas gift cards๐ One day this week I could not remember where I parked my car. Tired.
Nash- it was good to see you were not a flood victim! Here, a few months back we had folks under tents in hospital parking lots. Nothing to mess with. Our governor still has us masking up. Makes it harder to breathe, but I do it...I'm so glad the both of you still come here!! You are one of my lifelines for sure.

We still have to mask up here to enter any businesses. I wear a mask any time I am near other people. I wash my hands. I have hand sanitizer all over the place. You know what? I STILL tested positive for Covid on March 31st. We were on Spring Break, and I was on my back. Yesterday was my last day of quarantine. It was so good to get out of the house today. I was fortunate to only have mild symptoms. I got tested because I was short of breath from very little movement. So I had an extended Spring Break. God willing, I will go back to work on Monday. It is still challenging to draw a full breath, so wearing a mask all day is going to be hard.

Yikes! Carolo and Jeanette. Covid is real for you guys. I'm just not experiencing it in any shape or form over here. At least not with my friends . Maybe we over here got herd immunity because we didn't hide when this whole thing started. In fact Michigan had the highest Covid cases reported the other day and they couldn't go anywhere for months. My niece who teaches middle school in Michigan does everything virtual. The kids are not in the schools. I hope things get better real soon. This country is falling apart.

Hi Luv! I was at my friends farm today. She added another little goat to the farm that she named Honey. So now she has a Sugar and a Honey. Cassandra is doing well. She keeps so busy with her goats, her parents and bed ridden husband and her court reporting job, I don't think she gives herself time to be sad for long. I should mention, while Covid did not hit me at all, some of my friends had it but without serious symptoms. Cassandra had it several months ago. She mentioned today that she hasn't gotten her smell or taste back. She makes and sells delicious homemade ice cream. A few weeks ago she made a cherry chocolate flavor and got several orders. But when she tasted it, she said it had an awful taste. So when she made her deliveries she asked each customer to taste it first. They all said it was wonderful. Best flavor she ever made. I guess not being able to enjoy ice cream would be a serious symptom
