Hello people. I have been working 56 hours a week for a month now . I'm tired by the time Friday comes. Usually rest/sleep a lot on Saturday, then shop and clean on Sunday. I'm grateful to be working. Its difficult, tho.
Nash-your friend has honey and sugar--will she name one Splenda?😉. Sorry you know someone who lost their sense of taste...covid sure made a mess of things!
I am currently reading an actual book, "Fresh Complaint" by Jeffrey Eugenides. Short stories. Found in Dollar Store for $1.00. Good so far. Having trouble finding anything good to watch on my Amazon fire--TV or otherwise.
Glad you are both doing well!! Carol

Luvn--Wow, sorry you got the bug😫. Here we are still under mask mandate, but this month we go to 80% capacity and June to 100%. Casinos organized vaccinations for their employees quickly, because the more employees vaxxed the higher % of clientele allowed. I stayed isolated from March to Nov of last year, kept my nails short, used gel on my hands a d masked. I work with one client, and see the other three employees only at shift change. Here I am at a place with awesome entertainment and I don't go cuz covid😣😪😫

Hi Carolo, Good to see you busy again even if it is work. I'm anxious to get together with my friend Pauline, she just got back from a trip to Hawaii with her family . She was looking forward to bonding with her favorite grandson . From the pictures she texted to me it looks like that went well. He's a nice young man not in a hurry to get married but wants to be grounded in a career and finish college first. His grandma has been giving him good advice for a long time now. It's working.
I was cat sitting for the family with 3 cats last week (they used to have 5) it's always so boring there, so I was looking for a book to take with me while I passed the long nights away. I looked over several at Barnes and Noble and wound up getting one titled The Love Story of Missy Carmichael . It wasn't too big, so that appealed to me, the print was a nice size. "Hope was on her doorstep. All she had to do was let it in" caption on the cover and a sketch of a woman looking down at a dog. Then when I read the back cover and saw it was about a seventy-nine year old woman. I figured I could relate! It's good. But not being an enthusiastic reader no matter how good a book may be, I'm only only 1/8 of the way through.
I can't believe it's May. This year is going by way too fast. Life is going by way too fast.
