Hello pollies! Had a rather nitemarish xmas eve at work. Started out with patients family not coming due to covid, getting tested on Xmas eve(I'm negative) and having an upset person on my hands all night. I feel like Scarlett aO'Hara in Gone with the wind--tomorrow will be better. So I'm relaxing with mine y phone playing 8hours of soft Xmas music and opening cards etc.
Ill try to come back here tomorrow. Merry Christmas!
And you are right Nas. Its only a day.

Carol, I am happy that you tested negative.🙏🏾
My friend’s daughter (5) tested positive, my sister’s boyfriend woke up with a fever of 102, and my brother-in-law is sick. He is awaiting his results.
Nash, I agree that it is hard to believe that things will change any time soon.

Merry Christmas to you both! My day was relaxing with plenty of phone calls and junk food. Did do laundry and iron cuz after all I go back to work Mon.

I hope you both had a nice Christmas. Well, I see you had a nice quiet peaceful one Carolo. After your stressful Christmas Eve at work.
My friend Cathy came over Christmas afternoon and we watched"A Christmas Carol" the 1951 version with Alstair Sim -my favorite Scrooge and then we watched "The Presidents Lady" 1953 movie with Charlton Heston and Susan Hayward. We had Triscuits, Wheat Thins , cheese and wine . A very quiet Christmas .
Oh. I got my cat Jelli one of those stockings filled with cat toys. She's playing with them now. Batting plastic balls all over the house. As if she didn't have enough toys already .
