Hello! DH came home for the Memorial Day weekend. His daughter and family stopped here before moving on to a cruise. SIL BBQ'd a lovely meal for us, went grocery shopping for us and did many other tasks I am STILL unable to do before leaving. But DH went back to hospital on that Monday holiday as he was having water retention and heart issues. Home again last night, feeling much better after meds tweaked and much water weight lost☺. Wasps built a nest in my jeep and I was stung jumping its dead battery, ants have overrun our RV space and many tasks await me. TY for the earlier prayers and positive thoughts..
Wassup in your world?

Wow Carolo! You sure have your share of problems.
It was a very rainy day today. Off and on thunderstorms which made my outdoor tasks at my friends farm more difficult. My friends husband came home today too. He was in a facility for the last 3 weeks getting intensive physical therapy following his hip replacement . He's still in a wheel chair. It's going to be a long process, but I'm pretty sure he will be walking again eventually.
Last week , I helped my friend trim the hooves of 14 goats . I held them while she cut their nails. What a job! Then this past weekend , I cat sat for that 5 cat family I sit for a few times a year when they go out of town.
My brother and his wife are coming to see me this weekend. They are flying in Saturday morning and staying until next Wednesday. I haven't seen my brother in nearly 2 years and my SIL in 3 years. They'll want to go to downtown Nashville for all the hoopla going on there this weekend, CMA festival and possibly big crowd for the Predators (depending on if they win or loose or whatever. I truly am not paying any attention to it) I'm not a fan of big crowds. But to appease my brother I'll go.
So glad you and your husband are doing better and he's back home again .

Nash--that certainly is a long time since you have seen your brother(and his wife, too). I'll bet you both will be happy to see each other! And I really have no idea how one trims goat toenails, though it sound like an onerous task😉 Hope you all enjoy your time together, even if you have to endure the crowds...

Hi, Pollie Pals! I miss you ladies. End of the year testing, grading, and exhaustion are upon me, but I will be a free woman in 2 weeks, 3 days, 18 hours, 49 minutes and 53 seconds.
