Here north of Houston. We are hunkered down and staying close to town cuz of DH. Just lots of water so far. Anxiously watching the storms track to see if it will really dbl back and hit Houston-ACK!
Jealous to see that Nashville has nighttime temps in the 50s(according to our news)🙂

I am leaving tomorrow for my mini adventure. Kinda nervous, hoping nothing goes wrong with travel plans.

Carolo, I must have been inside during those 50 temps you saw. I really don't want temps that low. I love hot and am going to miss summer. I'm following Harvey on the news - they keep talking about Houston - how close are you? Scary! I'm praying for you. Jeanette, did you say where you plan on going for your mini vacation? I must have missed the destination you choose. Keep us posted. My BGF (best goat friend) Giselle, busted the harness that attaches to her wheel chair this week .  My friend Cathy was visiting the farm with a couple of her grade school friends from Memphis when it happened. Her friend and I carried Giselle back to the barn. (she was laying out in the pasture - poor thing) The company (Walking wheels for crippled pets) that I bought the harness from is sending me a new replacement harness - should be here by Tuesday. I sure hate to think of my furry buddy dragging herself around without her wheels . Attachments:

Just saw the news about Houston. Scary!
I am on the bus right now heading to Lake George, New York. Three days to refresh my spirit before the school year begins.
