Where is everyone? Hoping you and your family and friends are not in Irma path!
We have been house hunting here in hopes of finding something affordable while DH does his medical thing. His prescriptions are still up and down, creating a weekly trip to get Rxs. I am tired from hopping in and put of the truck, walking thru sometimes moldy smelling homes in hopes that "this will be the one". By weeks end my RV looks like a bomb struck it☺ Yet we are both doing better, ha! Wish us luck, pls...
Nash, how are things in the animal kingdom?
Luvn--back to work?

Good luck, Carlo. I hope you find your perfect home soon.
We did not get too much rain, considering what they predicted. Today has been cloudy most of the day and below average temps . I had a busy day on the farm today. We had to clear out all the old hay in the barn to make room for the fresh stuff. Big job.

Love the smell of fresh hay though... Our days are still in the mid to upper 80s but our nights are blessedly cooler and in the 70s...

Better a week late than never!
Carol, your dream home is out there waiting for you to discover it. I can't wait to hear all about it once the keys are in your hand.
Nash, you must feel such a sense of accomplishment when you step in the shower to soothe those hardworking muscles! I envy you. I have been such a slug all summer. Now that I am back to work, I am more active, but not in a satisfying way. We don't have any farms in my immediate area, but I would love to be outdoors doing something productive.
I don't know if it is Irma or Jose draping us in this humid yucky weather today, but I wish they would just keep on moving. There is no air to breathe, and my clothes won't dry.
On a brighter note, my little Kinders are pretty smart this year! The majority of them went to preschool, so they know how to hold a pencil, write their names, sit still (for the most part), and do the whole school thing. We just have to work on the chatting. I have a good feeling about this year.

Jeanette, I'm glad you're getting good vibes about your kids this year. I don't recall learning to write my name when I was in kindergarten. I barely learned my ABC's at that young age. You will probably need to separate the talkers . Make sure best friends don't sit together .

I wish I could find their battery compartments and remove their power sources.
