Hi Carolo, Good to "see" you . It's been a long time. How does it feel to drive a passenger car after being used to a pick up? Did I post out here the final result of the last fiasco with my Saturn? The repair of the problems was going to be $2258.05! I didn't think I wanted to put anymore money into that car so I traded it in for a Chevy Trax. The biggest car I every owned. I saw a couple of Saturn ION's that looked like mine on the road since. And it made me a little sad about that decision . In fact, every time I go in my garage and see that big white trax, it looks out of place. I miss my red Saturn.
I went to an urgent care center with a reaction to a bug bite. I think it was a mosquito . Anyway, they always take your blood pressure when you go to these places and the doctor there was concerned . She said I should see my primary care physician . Which I of course didn't have since I'm not a fan of doctors and refuse to get those routine tests they're always pushing. But.....my friends convinced me blood pressure was nothing to mess with. So I got a primary and she has me on a low dose . Which brought my bp down immediately . But that's all they'll convince me to do.
Covid-19 sucks. Tennessee is caving in to the ridiculous restrictions. We HAVE to wear a mask everywhere now. Businesses are going under. They're going to destroy everything . I know of several people who got the Covid . My one friend who helps me on the farm in fact. She said she felt far worse a year ago when she had the flu!
At the farm, my friend Cassandra is boarding a couple of goats for a lady. One of the goats was pregnant when she took her on. Well, the pregnant goat had two babies a week ago and she's being a meanie to one of the two. So were working with that issue. Cassandra has way too much on her plate. Her mom and stepdad who live with her were both in the hospital until. Yesterday. They were suppose to be release. Her stepdad because he missed a couple of dialysis treatments and his health (that's already bad) went way down. Her mom (also very bad health) had a stroke! She's doing better and is able to come home. Maybe her husbands condition and being in the hospital caused her extra stress, I'm sure. But, their both home by now. (I'll see for sure when I go there tomorrow) but that was the plan.

Hi. Back in the blahs. Too many unknowns about going back in the classroom.
Just poking my head in to let you know I’m thinking of you. Nash, don’t be pigheaded. Take care of yourself. We aren’t getting any younger.

So good to see you Luv! Going back in the classrooms? I didn't think they were doing that in Chicago. I thought it was all virtual and you'd get to stay home and teach from your computer. What a crazy mess this all it!

NYC school system is run by idiots. The mayor JUST decided to have his puppets check the safety of the buildings. We are supposed to open the doors on Sept 10. The union is talking about a strike.🙄

Oh no, Jeanette. Not a teachers strike! Seems they threaten that every year. At least when I was in school and that was a long time ago.

So, the mayor and the union are trying to work this out. We are delaying the start of the school year. Hopefully, that will give us more time to figure out what we’re doing, and to make necessary repairs. We had to take a survey last night to see how much support there is for a strike, just in case.

We didn’t strike... yet. The principals’ union wants the mayor and chancellor to give up control of the schools. Something new every weekend, it seems.
