Where is everyone on this dreary freezing January morning 2021? Last year was a record bad year and this year looks like it's going to be worse .
I had to go to court on January 5 - a Zoom conference with the judge and about 20 other victims caught by the tricky police making their quota on little old ladies! The Zoom conference was a joke. Tennessee laws are ridiculous . You either pay the ticket and take the points or go to court and pay a $76 court fee PLUS a $50 fee for a 4 hour Defensive Driving class. What a RACKET! First ticket I ever got here and I've been here since 2007. That fat cop could have and should have given me a warning . Not a ticket .
Then the mail service has been unusually awful this year. And this year has just begun. My bill for my car payment didn't come until 4 days before it's due. The payment I made to Bank of America for my credit card purchases was mailed on December 29. Payment due on January 11. They still don't have it! I will probably have to put a stop payment on it. Something I have never had to do in my life. And I guess I'll be paying bills on line from now on. Sorry postal workers. I'd like to keep you employed. But it's not helping me.
