I hope someone checks in here. My power cord for this computer died and I couldn't afford to get a new one. Sadly, I could not figure out how to get here from my Amazon fire devices either😥. To catch up- family in CO got covid but recovered well. My job is iffy but all of these type of jobs are temporary so nothing new there! I am fatter than ever from eating what I feel. I am reading trashy free ebooks and enjoying what few decent movies and TV things are on my fires. Although Vegas is opening to 50% capacities, I'm still keeping away from folks. Our schools are opening also. Also, I have lost my impetus along the way and don't know where to start rebuilding my life again🤔.
Wassup with you?

Hi, Carol and Nash. Nash, I hope you’re OK. The Weather Channel is showing the flooding down there. Stay safe!
Carol, any good books to recommend?
We are on Spring Break this coming week. No plans, really. I would like to go to the Bronx Zoo, and maybe to the movies. Other than that, I think I will rearrange furniture or change curtains. Something to lift my spirits.
I am also eating for eating’s sake. Our school keeps closing down for positive cases. Being home all day is an invitation to graze. Sitting in front of the computer all day is not helping. Lots of food and little movement makes for a fluffy teacher.
Did you ladies get your Covid vaccines? I am hesitant to get it. My sister and Mom got it. I don’t even take the flu shot.

Hi. I read When Crickets Cry by Martin recently and it was fairly good-free on my kindle unlimited thing. Sorry to see you haven't yet gotten your vax. I have had both shots from Moderna. Few side effects. Also had flu shot in fall. After watching Ed die I dont wanna go from lung issues. I'm working for a lady who had vivid early on....

Hi guys! I'm glad I checked in on a whim today. I about given up. It's been so long since anyone posted.
Jeanette, that rain was really crazy. It was the Passover weekend when my church had their big gathering. My home and surrounding area was okay. But the church basement flooded and some people in the church had floods in their basements. Some of the roads were flooded but none that I needed to take. We still had our big festival weekend at church.. It was packed. No social distancing , no masks. I love how normal and unafraid the people here are. We've been gathering right along. No one has gotten sick. Those who got Covid only had flu like symptoms. Nothing serious at all.
No I refuse to get the Covid shot. I refuse to get tested. I used to get the flu shot every year out of habit from my Blue Cross days. This year. I said NO to the flu shot as well. This Covid nonsense has my so angry. I want no part of what is a big over blown farce. IMHO. My brother who is 5 years older than me NEVER gets the flu shot and never got the flu. SO I had to ask myself. What the heck was I getting it for all these years. Neither my brother or his wife are getting the Covid vaccine. The majority of my friends aren't either .Just not buying it . This mask crap , I don't do either. While a lot of the stores like Target and Walmart have signs saying mask required, Williamson County where I live and these stores are dropped the mask mandate. So they have no business enforcing it . And they don't They don't say a thing to me. Let the other sheep wear them. I refuse .
So I get off my soap box for now. I know how frustrating it is to have computer issues, Carolo. I haven't a clue how those fire sticks work either. And I'm forever on the phone with Apple Support about one thing or another. It's why I only buy Apple products. Iphone, iPad, iMac and Apple TV. Their customer support is exceptional.
