Hello! Lets see, on July 4th I stayed in because of the extreme heat. We had two weeks of unusually hi Temps, and last weekend when I nearly bought tickets to see Garth Brooks it was 117°. Meaningless until I explain that the powers that be here built a lovely stadium in a location that has no parking near it! The thing looks like the home of Darth Vader-all black and shiny on the outside. So thousands of people were let out of the place all at once with pretty good distances to walk to their cars .
Other than that it is just going back and forth to my job, and eating and laundry and cleaning. Deadly dull life. However, in the past I had plenty of travels and fun so sometimes I look at my photos. Am enjoying Clarksons Farm on my Amazon fire. Its about one of the brothers who had that British car show who decides to work his own 400+ acre farm in England. No experience in farming. Some of it quite funny!
Glad you are still around Nash!
Is our teacher on vacation?

Carolo, It's rather boring on my end too. I haven't gone to the farm in couple of weeks. I don't know. I just don't feel needed there. Getting together with friends is my entertainment. I rent DVD's from Netflix and a couple of my friends will come over to watch the movie over a glass of wine or two.
The church has a summer camp on the church grounds for the kids. This is the last week of camp. I'm going to go down there as soon as I finishing typing this to keep my friend company. She brings her grandkids to the camp. This kids have fun. The adults sit around and fellowship. Something to do anyway.
I hope our teacher is doing okay. She needs to stop in before I put out a missing persons alert!

Knock! Knock! Teacher friend reporting in.😁
So, June 26th was our last day of classes. June 28th was my first time eating at a restaurant in over a year. It was strange to be around so many people without masks on. July 1, my little guy signed the lease for his first apartment. I am officially an empty nester after all these years. It is strange shopping and cooking for one. It is nice to have the extra closet space and not to have to share the bathroom, though. I have spent the last few weeks helping him pack up and move, clean his new place, shop… Where did the time go?

So....Jeanette. How far away is your son living from you now? Will he be on his own or does he have a roommate? Never having had kids I can't say I know what that's like from personal experience but I know how each and everyone of my friends felt when their kids, especially the last one, left their homes to be on their own. They were all a little sad. You'll get used to cooking for one real fast. Do what I do. Buy those cheap frozen entrees. Then you won't have to cook at all.
