Today I threw my right hip out for just a few seconds. Wasn't doing anything strenuous, just housework. It hurts like the devil and I'm limping. Mind you I have to climb up and down 19 steps to enter and leave this place. Annnd, my car is parked six blocks away😖. But I managed to do my laundry, clean the bathroom and take out recyclables before it occurred. Sigh. Still need to grocery shop. I am doing OK, but tired of being so alone. I could use the company of somebody my own age(almost 70). And I'm tired most of the time.
Luvn- I'm feeling fairly Scrooge-like these days so I understand not decorating. As for the booster, I think the vax is just supposed to make the symptoms lighter and less life threatening; not prevent infection altogether. If I could I would show folks pics of my late dh when he was being treated after lung transplant. The drains and stuff look the same as what I see on TV for covid patients. Not something I care to experience myself! Have a good week!

Carolo, Oh my! All the stairs. I'm so sorry. Take care. I hope you got yourself a good pain reliever prescription or some over the counter medicine that works.
I'll be glad when the holidays are over and we go into a New Year. I don't know why. I've giving up hope that anything will be different in any new year at this stage of the game.
I've been watching some of those sappy Christmas movies on Amazon Prime . Watched one with Julie Andrews and James Garner this morning . "A Special Night" 1999 movie. Then I googled James Garner and found that he died quite some time ago. At least Julie Andrews still exist. It's depressing when you get this age and realize that 90% of the people you followed have left the earth.
Well....at least the weather is improving for the Christmas holidays. We're headed back up to the 60's this weekend.
I wish you both a Merry Christmas . It's only a day.
