Hi pollies! Another week put in wher I worked on Sunday. I am fortunate to be employed but by Friday I'm wiped😣. Watching movies on my Fire on the weekends. Watched entire season1 of As We See It, Tina Turners life story, The Wall(a war story) and a stand up comic. still reading trashy books. Still pretty isolated.
Nash-sorry to read about the alpaca of your farm friend. Animals have a way of worming into our hearts...Glad to see you are not ill! Thanks for posting and keeping in touch!

Hi Carolo, This truly is an awful year! My very dear friend Charlotte's husband, Ken, passed away very early this morning. He had a brain bleed and was rushed to Vanderbilt hospital last Thursday. They could not stop the bleeding. He was 80 years old. His birthday was last Wednesday just one day before this happened. We all (me, Charlotte and another friend ) took him to a mexican restaurant to celebrate. It's so strange to think one day he's here and the next he was on his way to the end. Very sad. Ken's been in poor health for a while now. He had a brain bleed 5 years ago which effected his memory . Charlotte being the caring wife and selfless caregiver took him everywhere with her, had the patience of a saint. He was blessed to have her. Me and my friends always worried that if something were to happen to Charlotte first, Ken would be lost. So I guess in the end, it will happen to all of us, it was best that Ken went in peace with Charlotte by his side rather than vice versa. They have one adult daughter, sweet as can be. She flew in from her home in Texas to be here for her parents. So that's my news for the week. It sucks getting old .

Nash, I am sorry about Ken. That’s beautiful that he got to spend his last days surrounded by love.
