Hi pollies. Where r u all? I had to take Friday off as I am sick. Home test was negative, but I feel awful. Sneezing so hard and multiple times in a row-my belly muscles are sore🙂. Job is iffy. Am stil looking.

Hi Carolo,
I'm still here. Sorry to hear you're feeling sick. The weather has been really crappy here this week. Cold, lots of rain and cloudy days.
I've been catching some old movies between HBO and a good movie channel on Comcast. Interesting find. The Blob with Steve McQueen. So corny. I can't believe he made a movie like that. I think it may have been his first. Then I watched Black Board Jungle. The two movies had one interesting thing in common that stuck out like a sore thumb . The main actors were too old for their parts.
Mcqueen was 28 at the time The Blob was made. Poitier was 28 when he made Blackboard Jungle. They both were suppose to be high school students in these movies. They were old enough to be the parents.
Then I saw Street Car Named Desire. And I watched the original West Side Story. I'll have to see what else I can find for tonight.

Fri 2/25. Nash, sounds like mad movie fun! Im not having much fun these days. Reading saves my sanity! Still a bit under the weather this weekend??.??.
