That's a hard one to reply to as the news doesn't focus on GOOD news.

Dozens participate in Shop with a Cop event. While the majority of Williamson County was still asleep early Sunday morning, Morris Heithcock Lodge 41 of the Fraternal Order of Police’s officers and volunteers welcomed 18 selected Williamson County families into the Cool Springs Walmart for the fifth back-to-school Shop with a Cop event. Officers provided doughnuts and coffee for more than 50 guests before the shopping began. Each family was paired with an officer/volunteer, who helped with back-to-school shopping for the 2012-2013 school year. Students were given their school supply lists and picked out all items required for the coming school year. Additionally, each child was allowed up to $125 in clothes and other necessities.
And I saw them when I did my Walmart shopping this morning.

Saw one about a couple that had a bee infestation in their modest home. one of the two had a chronic disease, and a beekeeper came free of charge to remove the little buggers. Oh yes, he was stung in the process!

Here's one I had to dig deep for.
Valley Grove Church holds first service since fire destroyed building.

My company that provides services to disabled adults hosted 105 bicycle riders from the RAGBRAI bike across Iowa . One couple had a disabled son and he got to ride the first 20 miles with his parents bike club. His smile could light up a room. There was over 10,000 riders in our city that night
